Diné/BUCON, A Joint Venture, represents the joining of Diné Construction, LLC, an 8(a) disadvantaged small business, woman-owned, Native American firm and BlueScope Construction, Inc., a large general contractor specializing in government construction.
By participating together in the Small Business Administration Mentor-Protégé program, we can offer you the following benefits:
- Small Business Status. The Diné/BUCON JV is recognized by the SBA as an 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned, and Minority-Owned (Native American.) When contracting with us, you get large GC experience and financial backing with small business credentials.
- Bonding Capacity. We have an aggregate bonding capacity of $150 million, which can be expanded if necessary. We can handle your largest 8(a) set-aside projects.
- Reputation. Between Diné Construction and BlueScope Construction, we have satisfactorily completed over 500 design-build government projects ranging in contract size from under a million dollars to over $30 million. We have had no government project terminated for cause, been assessed liquidated damages, or result in litigation.
- Team Structure. With in-house steel erection and concrete crews, we often self-perform up to a third of the work on our projects. Because so much of our work is self-performed, and not subject to multiple mark-ups, we can meet some of the tightest project budgets.
- Direct building system procurement. The Diné/BUCON JV is directly connected to BlueScope Buildings, the manufacturer of Butler Buildings. Through BlueScope Construction you get manufacturer-direct pricing on your building structure and cladding systems, and manufacturer-direct responsibility for your building system warranties.
Contact us today for quick budget prices on facilities such as warehouses, maintenance facilities, hangars, training, and fitness centers. We can help you achieve your small business set-aside goals.
